Kym Gold, Founder and Creative Director, and Sakshi Khurana, Founding Partner and COO, bring a rare combination of expertise across brand building, design, sourcing, production, and global manufacturing.
Kym co-founded True Religion, helping build one of the most recognizable fashion and lifestyle brands of its generation through a distinct product vision and strong consumer trust. Sakshi brings more than two decades of experience across sourcing, production, operations, and product development, including Giorgio Armani and Urban Zen by Donna Karan.
Together, they bring both creative instinct and operational expertise to dumæ, connecting design direction in Los Angeles with global sourcing, manufacturing relationships, and artisan production in India. Their shared focus is on building a brand through trust, material knowledge, and long-term production partnerships, creating pieces with the quality, range, and consistency to live across homes, hotels, restaurants, and shared spaces.

nspired by nature and motivated by tradition, dumæ creates handcrafted pieces shaped through material, form, and atmosphere.
The name brings together Point Dume, the coastal stretch of Malibu where Kym Gold grew up, and Mae, an homage to motherhood and the women who have shaped her life and work.
Designed in Los Angeles and made with artisans in India, dumæ works across ceramic, metal, recycled paper, textile, wax, and lighting. Sakshi Khurana’s Indian heritage and long-standing production relationships bring a personal connection to the craft, materials, and makers behind each piece.
